We spent the last week in NYC running in the triple degree weather to showrooms and tradeshows to see the new collections for men’s spring 2012. One of the highlights was meeting and talking to Matt Baldwin of Baldwin Denim. An amazing guy with a growing line of incredible denim offerings for men, women, and soon children!

Spring is here! Time to put away those chunky knits and heavy winter jackets. The combination of a lightweight cashmere sweater with a versatile dress makes for the perfect spring outfit. Here are two of our favorite pieces for the season that are fun, easy and practical. The Gary Graham Lingerie Patch Dress, which was a hit at our Gary Graham trunk show this past March is the perfect color and weight for spring and summer. It can be tied two ways depending on the occasion. The addition of the slate blue Alice Ritter Nadia Cardigan makes for an an easy transition from day to evening. WE LOVE GARY!

Gary Graham Trunk Show
On Thursday, it was our pleasure to have Gary Graham come up from NYC with his new fall collection samples for us and our clients to admire. Looking at pictures of the fall presentation online are nothing compared to seeing the pieces in person. Delicately embroidered shearlings, patterned leggings and oversized tops, and buttery soft knits all mixed together in perfectly coordinated chaos that only Gary is able to execute so well.
Thanks again to Gary and to everyone that braved the brutal cold that day to come out and enjoy the evening with us!
One of Gary’s favorite coats. he developed the texture at RISD last summer and the outcome is a series of gorgeous patterns that are completely unique from anything else. It looks like it belongs in a museum behind glass!

One of our favorite pieces wasn’t in the fall presentation, a cropped striped jacket with diamond detailing in the back. Another texture developed at RISD, it is a stunning top that can be paired with jeans, dresses, leggings… anything and it will look absolutely amazing.
