Tres Gatos is a tapas restaurant, book store, and music shop all in one. Located in Jamaica Plain in a small house, the outside is understated and to be honest, not much to look at. What the outside lacks, the inside certainly makes up for. As soon as you step inside you feel instantly relaxed, much like walking into an old friend’s pad. The atmosphere is cozy and casual and the staff is welcoming. You can linger over your meal, sip a cocktail, browse records, and grab yourself a new read all in one place. Tres Gatos is more of an experience than just another eatery.
The best part of Tres Gatos is the food. Everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING is cooked to perfection. I could make recommendations, however, it would be completely unnecessary since every single meal I have had there is delicious.
This is one of my absolute favorite spots and I highly recommend it.
